Keyboard shortcuts
Press ? on any screen to see its shortcuts. Every shortcut is listed under Settings → Keyboard shortcuts with Mac and Windows / Linux keys, including the POS keys for taking an order without the mouse.
AirQR has keyboard shortcuts that save time at the counter and in the back office. Press ? on any screen of the dashboard to see the shortcuts for that screen. The full list, with the keys for Mac and for Windows / Linux side by side, is in Avatar menu → Settings → Keyboard shortcuts (or click See every shortcut at the bottom of the ? window).
Shortcuts don't fire while you're typing in a text box, so a / or ? in a note stays text. Keys with Ctrl (⌘ on a Mac), and the ones listed for a search box, still work there.
Shortcuts that work everywhere

In the ⌘ K / Ctrl K search, type a few letters of a page name or a dish (or its short code) to jump straight to it.
Point of sale shortcuts
Take an order without the mouse: type a code, press Enter, send. These work on the offline POS too.

Go to table: press T (when the cursor isn't in a text box), type a table name or number (4, T4 or B2; an exact name wins), use the arrow keys if several match and press Enter. It opens that table's check, or starts a new order for a free table. It also works on the Tables page. ⌘T / Ctrl+T can't be used because the browser keeps it for new tabs, so the key is a plain letter.
You can change the key for the computer you're on in Settings → Keyboard shortcuts → Your keys: press Change, then the key you want. Keys the other POS shortcuts use (like /) are refused. The choice is saved on this computer only; Reset goes back to T. The POS header's table button shows the current key in its tooltip.

Other screens
- Menu builder: Enter in a category's name box saves the category.
- Time clock (the shared clock-in screen): type your PIN with the number keys. A 6-digit PIN goes through by itself; press Enter for a shorter one. Backspace (⌫ on a Mac) deletes the last digit and Esc starts again.
- Ask AirQR (the help panel): Enter asks your question; Shift + Enter (⇧ Enter on a Mac) starts a new line.
Troubleshooting
