Ask AirQR, the help assistant
Get instant answers about AirQR from the Ask AirQR assistant, what a question costs in AI credits, and what to do when it can't help.
Ask AirQR is a help assistant built into the dashboard. Ask it how to do something in AirQR in plain words and it answers from the AirQR help articles, with the steps and the screen names you'll see. It's for questions about using AirQR, not for changing anything in your account.
How do I ask a question?
- On any dashboard page, press the Ask AirQR button that floats at the bottom of the screen.
- Type your question in your own words, for example "How do I mark a dish sold out?" or "Printer is printing garbage characters".
- Read the answer. It usually gives numbered steps and links to the full help article.
You can also browse every help article in the Help center at /dashboard/help, grouped by topic (Getting started, Menu, Kitchen & printing, Payments & POS and so on).
Tips for good answers:
- Say what you're trying to do and where you are ("On the POS, how do I split the bill?").
- Include the exact message you see if something went wrong.
- Ask one thing at a time.
What can the assistant help with, and what can't it do?
It can explain how to use any part of AirQR: menus, QR codes, ordering, POS, kitchen display, printing, cash drawer, reservations, offers, reports, GST files, staff and shifts, settings and plans. It answers from the help articles, so answers match how AirQR works.
It can't:
- see or change your business data, orders, settings or plan;
- take payments, activate plans or fix a printer for you;
- answer questions it has no help article for.
If the assistant isn't sure, it says so and points you to AirQR support instead of guessing. See Contact support.
What does a question cost?
Each question uses 1 AI credit, from the same AI credits as menu import, descriptions and translations (see AI credits). The assistant shows "Each question uses 1 AI credit" and how many credits you have left before you ask.
- You are only charged for a question that gets an answer. The credit is given back when: If you stop after most of the answer was already shown, the credit stays, because you got your answer.
- the AI fails or gives no answer;
- the assistant has nothing relevant and only points you to support;
- you press Stop or close the window before most of the answer has arrived (under about 200 characters).
- Reading the Help center articles is always free.
- Your usage log in Settings → Billing → AI credits lists each question as "Ask AirQR question".
- When your credits run out, the assistant says so and links to Settings → Billing, where you can add credits. Credits reset on the 1st, or you can buy a pack or switch on pay as you go.
- When your plan has ended (after the 7-day grace period), the assistant is paused until you choose a plan.
How do I rate an answer?
Under each answer, press thumbs up if it helped or thumbs down if it was wrong or unclear. Your ratings help the AirQR team improve the help articles and the assistant.
If an answer was wrong and you're stuck, don't keep rephrasing: contact support with what you asked and what you saw.
Troubleshooting the help assistant
- I don't see the Ask AirQR button. Reload the page, or open the Help center at /dashboard/help.
- It says I'm out of AI credits. Your business has used its AI credits. They reset on the 1st, or add credits in Settings → Billing. The Help center articles are always available.
- The answer doesn't match my screen. The feature's module may be off or not in your plan, your role may not include it (see I can't see a page or a menu item), or you may be in a different outlet. Tell support if it still doesn't match.
- Urgent problem during service (can't take orders or bill): don't wait for the assistant. Call +91 96573 22724.
