Signing in with your email or mobile number

Sign in to AirQR with an email or a mobile number and a password, add a second way to sign in, and fix the usual sign-in problems.

You can sign in to AirQR with either your email or your mobile number, plus your password. Owners and managers usually use an email. Waiters and other staff who don't have an email can use their mobile number instead. Nothing is texted to your phone: you type your number and your password, the same as with an email.

How do I sign in?

  1. Open airqr.in/login.
  2. In Email or mobile number, type your email, or your mobile number (the 10 digits are enough in India; for another country start with + and the country code, like +971 50 123 4567).
  3. Type your password and tap Sign in. Tap the eye to check what you typed.

Keep me signed in is ticked by default. On a shared device, untick it and you'll be signed out when the browser closes.

I'm a new member of staff. What are my details?

Your owner or manager adds you from the Staff page and tells you your sign-in (your mobile number or your email) and a first password. The first time you sign in, AirQR asks you to choose your own password so only you know it. See Staff, logins and roles.

Can I add a second way to sign in?

Yes. Open your menu (your initials, top right):

  • Add a mobile number (or Change mobile number): type the number and your current password. After that you can sign in with the number or your email.
  • Add an email (for a mobile-number login): type your email and your current password. We email a link to that address; open it while you are signed in to AirQR and tap Confirm email. The link works once and lasts 24 hours. Until you confirm it, the email shows as waiting (you can resend or cancel it from the same menu item). After that the email is used for receipts and invoices, and you can sign in with it as well. Your password stays the same.

A mobile number or an email can belong to only one AirQR login.

It says "Wrong email, mobile number or password"

  • Check the number: use the one your manager gave you. In India type just the 10 digits.
  • Check the password for spaces at the start or end. Use the eye to look at it.
  • Too many wrong tries pause sign-in for a few minutes. Wait and try again.
  • AirQR doesn't say which part was wrong, to keep accounts private.

I forgot my password

There's no forgot-password button. Staff: ask your owner or manager to set a new password for you on the Staff page (⋯ → Reset password). Owners: contact AirQR support at support@airqr.in or +91 96573 22724.

The country code

When you type a mobile number, a small country box appears next to the field (+91 for India). Tap it to pick another country; AirQR remembers your choice on that device. Or start the number with + and the country code.

I changed my mobile number

Ask your manager to update it (Staff → Edit), or change it yourself from your menu. Sign in with the new number from then on.
