Getting started with AirQR

Get your account from AirQR, sign in, and take the first steps to get your QR menu and ordering running.

AirQR runs your restaurant, bar, café or cloud kitchen from one place: a QR menu guests order from, plus the point of sale, kitchen display, printing, takeaway and online orders, reservations and reports behind it. This article takes a new owner from their first sign-in to a working menu.

How do I get an AirQR account?

AirQR sets up business accounts for you. There's no sign-up form: contact AirQR (call or WhatsApp +91 96573 22724, or email support@airqr.in) and we create your owner login, your business and your first outlet.

  1. AirQR sends you a Set your password email (the link works for 72 hours), or gives you your sign-in email and a password privately.
  2. With the email: press the button, choose your password and press Set password and sign in. You land on your dashboard.
  3. With a password from AirQR: open airqr.in/login, enter the email and password and press Sign in, then choose a password only you know when asked.

Keep me signed in on the sign-in page is ticked by default. Untick it on a shared device and you're signed out when the browser closes.

Staff don't sign up either. The owner or a manager adds them from the Staff page. Staff without an email can sign in with their mobile number and a password (see Signing in). Floor staff can be PIN only; people who need their own login get an email and password from their owner or manager (see Staff, logins and roles).

Forgot your password? There's no forgot-password button. Owners: contact AirQR and we email you a reset link or reset it for you. Staff: ask your owner or manager, who can email you a reset link or set a new password on the Staff page. See Emails from AirQR.

What is included in the 28-day free trial?

Every new account starts with a 28-day free trial of all AirQR features, including the ones that are normally only in the Growth and Pro plans (kitchen display, reservations, inventory, staff roster and more). During the trial you can have up to 3 outlets, unlimited tables, staff and menu languages, and 300 AI credits.

When 7 or fewer days are left, owners and managers see a banner at the top of the dashboard. When the trial ends you still get 7 more days of full access (the grace period). After that your QR menu stays live as a view-only digital menu, but ordering and the other features pause until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted.

To choose a plan, the owner opens Avatar menu → Plan & billing. See Plans, trial and billing.

What does AirQR set up for me?

When AirQR creates your account you get, ready to use:

  • Your business (brand) and your first outlet, with the city and country you gave us. For India that means ₹ with CGST and SGST added at checkout.
  • A Main Menu with empty starter categories (Starters, Mains, Breads & Rice, Desserts and Drinks) to fill in.
  • A main menu QR code, and 10 tables (T1 to T10) in a Main dining area, each with its own QR code. Rename, add or remove tables in Tables → Edit floor plan.
  • Guest ordering from the QR menu on (unless you chose a menu-only start, which leaves the QR ordering modules off), the Noir menu theme and an orange brand colour. Change the look in Menu & QR → Design & brand. To pause or resume QR ordering, use Pause QR ordering in Settings → Ordering. To turn features such as takeaway, online ordering or loyalty on or off, use Settings → Modules (see Modules).

You can change all of this later. Need another outlet? Add it in Settings (see Multiple outlets). A separate business is set up by AirQR: contact us.

What should I do first after setup?

The Overview page shows a Get set up card to owners and managers until these six steps are done. Each one links to the right page:

  1. Add your menu: import it from a CSV, Excel, PDF or Word file or photos of your paper menu with Menu & QR → Import menu, or build it in Menu & QR → Menu builder. See Import your menu and Menu builder basics.
  2. Brand your QR menu: add your logo, cover photo and colours in Menu & QR → Design & brand.
  3. Set up tables: draw your floor plan and name tables the way staff call them (Tables → Edit floor plan).
  4. Print & place QR codes: print table cards from Menu & QR → QR codes. This step ticks itself off after the first scan.
  5. Accept UPI payments: add your UPI ID in Settings → Payments (India only).
  6. Invite your team: add waiters, cashiers and kitchen staff from Admin → Staff with Add staff. A name, mobile and PIN are enough; no email is needed.

Then work through the fuller Go-live checklist before real guests order.

How do I see my guest menu?

Your menu is live as soon as setup finishes. To see what guests see:

  • Press View menu in the top bar, or Your menu is live at the bottom of the sidebar. It opens your menu in a new tab.
  • Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and choose Open guest menu.
  • Copy the web address from Settings → Outlet → Guest menu link to share it.

Table QR codes open the same menu with the table already attached, so orders reach the right table.

Common questions when getting started

  • I closed the wizard by mistake. Sign in again. If your business wasn't created yet, AirQR takes you back to the wizard.
  • I run a second business. Contact AirQR and we add it to your login. Then switch between businesses from the outlet switcher at the top of the sidebar (Switch business).
  • I have several outlets of the same brand. Don't run the wizard again; add outlets from Settings → Outlets. See Multiple outlets.
  • My staff can't see some pages. Each role sees only what it needs, and only screens whose module is on. See Staff roles: who sees what and I can't see a page or a menu item.
  • Need help setting up? Call or WhatsApp +91 96573 22724, or email support@airqr.in.
